The recent renovation of the historic 1439 Strasbourg Cathedral in Strasbourg, France, won a Commendable Achievement in the Exterior Lighting category from our sister lighting publication. Writes associate editor Katharine Keane: "Despite the structure’s UNESCO World Heritage Site status ... the recent restoration of the cathedral by local firm L’Atelier d’Architecture JCBA with lighting design firm L’Acte Lumière took only four years from planning to completion.
