Billie Eilish‘s No. 1 Hot 100 hit “Bad Guy” won song of the year last night (Jan. 26) at the 2020 Grammy Awards, but fans who voted in Billboard‘s latest poll for who should’ve won in this Big Four category had a different winner in mind: Taylor Swift‘s song “Lover.”
Swift, who is credited as the sole songwriter behind her Lover title track, won the poll posted yesterday with 27 percent of the votes, while Eilish came in second place with approximately 25 percent of the votes.
Lewis Capaldi‘s “Someone You Loved” and Lady Gaga‘s “Always Remember Us This Way” were neck and neck for third place, as Capaldi’s No. 1 Hot 100 song came in with 12.61 percent of the votes and Gaga’s solo ballad from A Star is Born fell short at 12.45 percent.
